Discover our journey from surplus blinds fabrics to stylish versatile totes and friends. Each piece is crafted with care and purpose, creating functional fashion that makes a positive impact on both the environment and society.

We start by collecting excess blinds fabrics.

In the process of producing high quality blinds, we collect the excess fabrics that would otherwise be discarded, preventing unnecessary waste. The materials are meticulously selected to ensure their suitability for upcycling.

Organizing and preparing them to be upcycled.

The collected fabrics are carefully cut into specific patterns before being sewn together and turn anew. Since we work with what we’ve been given, each of our product has a unique twist, produced from a variety of fabrics.

Transforming them into sustainably, stylish Föld Essentials.

Finally with the design in place, skilled artisans sew together each piece, carefully completing the puzzle. The final product is a versatile, eco-friendly accessory, ready for everyday use.

Our Story

We recognize that every production process certainly generates a degree of industrial waste. The leftovers inevitably leaves a lasting footprint on our planet, with significant negative impacts, especially if not managed properly over time.

Föld is the brainchild between Sandimas Intimitra (Sandei) and Imaji Nata Kirana (CoulisseINK), along with the social organization, YWCaN Youth, born from a shared commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Föld means “earth” in Hungarian. The brand was created to transform our surplus fabrics produced from the production of blinds, into well-designed, everyday totes and friends. These products are not only useful but also beautifully crafted and precious.

By collaborating with designers and various industry groups, Föld aims to produce an array of exciting commodities that can be utilized in everyday life, all while promoting sustainability and creativity.

Moreover, a portion of Föld’s sales will support YWCaN Youth programs in Sungai Utik, Borneo, Randau Borneo, and Asmat Irian Jaya.
YWCaN Youth works alongside local communities and are driving replanting programs focused on vegetation that support the indigenous people’s economy. The organization also works towards preserving endangered tree species and promote environmental education. Through these efforts, we aim to sustain local culture, community well-being, and the health of Mother Earth.

Our Story

By collaborate with designers and many group of industry, we hope Föld could produce lots of exciting items to be utilized for everyday activities.

Moreover, part of Föld selling will contribute to YWCaN Youth replanting program at Sungai Utik Borneo,Randau Borneo and Asmat Irian Jaya.

YWCaN youth with local communities, are accommodating replanting program that focus on vegetationthat could support Indigenous communities’ economy, trees that are facing an extinction, or trees that are useful for Education, so we could sustain the culture and communityand also definitely Mother Earth.
